Description
The Carrier Comfort series of thermostats consists of programmable and non-programmable air conditioner and heat pump controls. These units feature non-mercury, non-lead based electronic controls built into a subtle, slim plastic enclosure.

- When automatically changeover mode is selected, a change from heat to cool (or vice versa) will not occur until an opposite mode demand has existed for 20 min, when a set point is changed automatically changeover timing is ignored to allow the heating/cooling equipment to respond quickly
- Non-volatile memory to retain settings during a power outage
- Keypad lockout
- Continuous display backlighting configurable
- Configurable set point limits
- The heating/cooling set point range is from 50 to 90 deg F
- Selectable range of 1 to 6 deg F is enforced between heating and cooling desired temperatures
- 5 min compressor time guard prevents the compressor from starting unless it has been off for at least 5 min
- Room temperature may be deliberately offset by up to 5 deg F in either direction
- -40 to 134 deg F storage temperature
- 95% non-condensing relative humidity
- Standard 18 to 22 ga, local wiring codes supercede wire required
- When thermostat is controlling a heat pump and emergency heat is selected, all Y signals are locked out, and W becomes energized upon a call for heat
